While they provide significant opportunities, its adoption among SMEs—who make up over 94% of the sector—remains limited due to accessibility and cost challenges.
EBC advocates for a digital framework tailored to the realities of SMEs, emphasizing open standards, practical and affordable tools, and targeted training. By supporting SME-friendly policies for digital construction, EBC promotes a future-ready construction sector where data-driven decisions are accessible to all. EBC action aims to ensure that digital standards and tools across the construction sector support sustainable, efficient, and inclusive growth.
