During its Steering Committee, EBC met yesterday its French, Belgian and Dutch partners of CondoReno Creating and Multiplying Integrated Home Renovation Services for private condominiums in the Netherlands and Flanders, a European project co-funded under the LIFE programme.
CondoReno aims at creating Integrated Home Renovation Services (IHRS), tailored for condominium associations looking to undertake energy-efficient renovations. These services will provide full-scale support throughout the entire renovation process for buildings owned by numerous private homeowners. In essence, CondoReno aims to simplify and enhance the way condominiums approach and execute energy-efficient renovations, making the process smoother and more accessible.
The Steering Committee meeting ensured that all stakeholders remained coordinated regarding the project’s ongoing development in the Netherlands and Flanders while also overviewing the overall progress, notably on key performance indicators and financing schemes. Additionally, EBC together with UIPI have started to lay the foundations for the future replicability of CondoReno models in other EU countries, targeting local contractors and property owners.
CondoReno aims at contributing to the construction value chain’s efforts to enhance energy-efficient renovations of the European building stock as part of the EU’s clean energy transition and the Renovation Wave.
