Last week, EBC members met in Paris for a working group dedicated to the political vision of the EBC today and in the future, meeting physically for the first time since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
On this occasion, the current representatives of EBC exchanged on the current dynamics at national level influencing the activities of the construction craft and SMEs, took stock of the legislative priorities for the construction SMEs and discussed potential future actions in Brussels.
In addition, the strategic presence in forums dedicated to the construction ecosystem, the collaboration with SMEunited and Small Business Standards, and the participation in European projects and initiatives were also part of the constructive and forward-looking discussions.
The meeting was also an opportunity for many new delegates to meet again or for the first time, so as to continue to strengthen the links between national associations of construction SMEs, in times troubled by the health situation but even more so by the war in Ukraine.
The EBC Secretariat is looking forward to meeting the delegations of its members on 28 April during the first EBC Board of Directors meeting held in Brussels since 2019.
