The European Commission, along with the European Economic and Social Committee and the French EU Council Presidency, co-operated in the organization of the 5th edition of the Circular Economy Stakeholder Conference. Circular Economy stakeholders from all over Europe will gather at this two-day conference on 1 and 2 March 2022 to discuss sustainable products and sustainable consumption with a particular focus on the main upcoming milestones in the implementation of the Circular Economy Action Plan and on the next steps in the Circular Economy.
Day 1 of the Conference will be dedicated to present the latest circular economy policy advances, prepare the ground for upcoming actions to to make sustainable products the new standard.
Day 2 will consist of participatory workshops to showcase success stories and identify new challenges and opportunities in fields like circular cities, retailers & consumers, procurement, food waste & bioeconomy, textiles, network governance, construction & infrastructure, and economic incentives.
In the context of this second day, in cooperation with the Coordination Group members of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ECESP).
In the framework of this second day, EBC Secretary General Fernando Sigchos Jiménez, will intervene in the panel dedicated to Circular Opportunities in Building and Infrastructure starting at 11:30 CET.
EBC participates in the Construction & Infrastructure Leadership Group of ECESP on behalf of SMEunited, which is part of the ECESP Coordination Group.
