At a time when, in the wake of the Covid-19 emergency, digital and distance learning have assumed an even more important role worldwide, it is timely to signal that our Erasmus + project CONDAP: “Digital Skills for Workplace Mentors in Construction Sector Apprenticeships” has recently made significant steps forward in defining the core contents of its future online training course.
CONDAP aims to enhance the digital skills of mentors within the construction industry, in order to close the gap between training offers and employers’ expectations in the sector.
After the establishment of three learning units (see below), the CONDAP consortium focused in the first months of 2020 on the development of the actual training and assessment material, on which the course will be based. Such material took the form, for each learning unit, of lecture notes, case studies, frequently asked questions (FAQ) and exercises with multiple-choice and/or short questions.
The material has been articulated internally into different lessons per learning unit, to facilitate the future online fruition, that will be available in five languages (English, French, Spanish, Lithuanian and Greek):
In the coming months, all training and assessment materials will be made freely available as Open Educational Resources (OERs). The full CONDAP course will be accessible online in the form of an Online Open Professional Course (VOOC), hosted on a free e-learning platform. For further information, please download the project presentation in English (or French) or visit the CONDAP website. |
