Building on the strong dynamics of cooperation in the sector, EBC has been collaborating intensely with FIEC, CECE and CPE to unite as many construction stakeholders as possible around the Construction 2050 Alliance.
In order to fine-tune this unprecedented initiative in the field of the built environment, 40 high-level representatives of the main organisations in the construction value chain gathered to deal with the final details of the alliance before its public launch, which is expected to take place in mid-March 2020.
The ultimate objective of the Construction 2050 is that the construction sector speaks with a single voice to crucially contribute to the EU political debates. This Alliance will, thus, be a collaborative effort to build the sustainable Europe of tomorrow and to show the unique importance of the construction sector to the European institutions and civil society.
