EBC 2018 General Assembly: Rinaldo Incerpi officially assumes the Presidency of EBC

Brussels, 2 July 2018 – After his election at the General Assembly in June 2018, Rinaldo Incerpi becomes the new President of the European Builders Confederation (EBC). An important construction entrepreneur from Tuscany, he served for several years as President of CNA Costruzioni, one of the main confederations representing the interests of construction SMEs and craftsmen in Italy.

EBC President Rinaldo Incerpi commented: “I have the honour and privilege to represent the voice of European construction craftsmen and small and medium-sized enterprises as EBC President for the next three years. The construction industry has witnessed important changes owing to fast-moving digital transformation, new energy efficiency targets and a strengthened focus on environmental sustainability. As we continue on our path of recovery and growth, we can only meet these challenges if we strengthen our cooperation with the other stakeholders of the construction value chain, now more than ever”.

He continued: “I will dedicate myself with enthusiasm, energy and responsibility to make sure that the voice of construction micro, small and medium-enterprises and craftsmen is effectively heard at the European and international level. I would like to warmly thank former EBC President, Mr Patrick Liébus, for the strong leadership and commitment shown during his mandate, and I am looking forward to work together towards consolidating the role of our construction entrepreneurs”.

On the occasion of the General Assembly, EBC also elected Philip van Nieuwenhuizen (AFNL, Netherlands) as Vice-President, who will closely work with EBC President Rinaldo Incerpi and Patrick Liébus, serving as EBC Past President.
